I came on after a few hours and noticed that some of you have been talking about email spam/invitations/messages.
As a new member, and totally needing this community to return, I think that it's a good thing that we have this site to come home to. I received healing some 3 years back from someone on another site like this one, it may've been http://starseeds.net or some other site I can't remember the name of exactly.
I was going through a really rough time. And the prayers and blessings helped me through it all. As someone who is spiritual but not religious, I know the power of healing is multiplied when people care to think positive about themselves and the world around them.
Just like you can't tell the sun to shut off when ever it feels like but hiding behind clouds, I take the communication as a good sign that things are finally starting to work out for us. I can't speak for everyone and their tolerance level, but I can speak for myself and say that without a doubt, I'll ride out the storm with you. Hopefully we can already start to see the love through it all. Love of people. Love of service to others. Love of community. Love of passion. And most importantly, the blessing that comes with the understanding of love to be able to love yourself and others in return.
Things beyond our control means that someone else cares, two. Even if it's expressed in a different way than how you'd care about something. So if you are ever feeling like you can't express yourselves, I'm sure you can. I've discovered for anyone interested that the invites to join this community and another one.

They're coming from some sub domain of ning.com.
Setting a filter to not be notified of new email from ning.com may help you stop receiving the unwanted messages. I like that we're being included and welcome to participate together though. the admins have the right idea, I'm just sorry that they're expressing it in a way that is making you angry. I know that is not their nor my intention as members of the same overall community to willingly hurt you. And the difference between this situation and one where actual abuse is present, is that we don't have to click on anything as no harm has really been done. Count another blessing.
I chose to, and I don't regret it. this community is no scam. It's the real deal and I have the courage to prove it in time. Will you join me?
It's up to you. But I don't like to see people upset. so am doing what I can to calm things, if I can.
Just for your information, the contact address for this site is different than the one from the invitations. So perhaps an existing community on the sub domain Ning sites was turned off and people are looking for somewhere else to build? I would assume that's the case and so really, we may not know each other from the same community, but rather different communities perhaps one member of the admin team here was apart of. Kind of like extended family in a way. but that's my best guess.
