The concept of 'God' has always been a false image from the word GO.  Why did it ever start in the first place?  One could say - it was a way to explain the world/universe at that time.  Or a pessimist could say - it was designed to entrap people - the general public into becoming malleable subjects - by putting them onto the lowest level possible and to have a hierarchy above them - God being the highest and inbetween the priests holding the real power.

You could say that religions came about - as a way of explaining what happens to us all - when we die?  It gave something for the people to believe in.  But is it actually 'real' their view about heaven and whatever else they tag onto it.  It may have been perfectly fine a few thousand years ago - but in today's technologic world - isn't it really outdated in so many ways.  The most important thing to know about world religions is that they behave exactly like one another.  They are only after their own self interests - first and foremost.  That of self promotion.  I do say they put on an act of 'spirituality' and it is an act.

We have too many examples of this in our modern world.  Christian sects who treat their followers as slaves - here in New Zealand - we have 2 to 3 examples.  Gloriavale comes to mind, but there are others just as bad.  Christian cults.  More mainstream ones will be the likes of Jehovah's Witness (I have a brother indoctrinated into this one) and the Mormons.  Sadly one is as bad as one another.

Sadly I was at my niece's funeral in which a Angelican minister was running it - she sprouted the line - that only those who pledged their allegiance to Jesus will be granted eternal life.  She acted like she was preaching to her flock - but we weren't part of that.

A more sensible view - is that we are subject to living as to our 'dying'.  That all human beings - just as we are all the same (more or less) in living the one life that we know of - so too, when we die - that we all go through the same process of dying - and go to the same state that all human beings go to, when they die.

It is a fact of life.  Why should belief or faith change our destination?  It is like saying - If you think, you can, If you think you can - If you think you can - then the impossible can happen to you!  But we know that it is as rubbish as it sounds like.

Using simple common sense - you can tell the truth from the lies.  I think so.  The truth is simple, plain and simple.  Trust in what your own consciousness tells you.  You do it for every other aspect in your life - don't you?

You see it in your life every day of your life - what life and living is really like?  You know that every human being - is just like every other human being.  That we require the same things - food, clothing, shelter, money, job, love, relationships, etc.  That we do not function alone - that we depend upon the society in which we live.  No one is truly independent - are they?  Those who try being independent - still are dependent but are less so in their own way.

The Queen of England is no different from you and me.  Talk of her being a shapeshifter - is just that - talk.  The more unbelievable a claim is - the more it needs to be shown it is so.  That facts need to be present to back up the claim.
