I don't expect my view(s) to be fully appreciated here - but these kind of things need to be said, with facts to back up what I go on about.
My mantra is - if the truth matters to you - you have to go where the truth (information) takes you to. And it is a rabbit hole that the general public would rather stay away from. Because it will be to admit that we are taught so many things incorrectly.
While I have always taken a view in the affirmative towards New Age kind of thinking - however over the decades I have had to discard many core beliefs in this area - for the sake of 'truth'. That you are bound to go through a series of disillusionments in order to be sure you are following the path of truth correctly. I have discarded two authors in my journey - though I am still interested in the areas they had covered. Other authors remain intact with which I held them.
For example Erick von Daniken is not taken seriously today by the academics - but I would go along with what he said - in general. That it was always the case that ETs were always the god, God, gods of legends of all world cultures. It makes sense that they were ETs. And they appeared to be like gods because of the high technology they used. You got writers the likes of J K Rowling who promotes the use of 'magic' in her books. But what appeared to be 'magic' to those on a lower level of technology was always a high level of technology that they did not understand. That ETs had magical devices - which enabled their 'magic' - technologic apparatus.
The examples of proof for what Daniken claimed - that is, advanced technology present in ancient times can number in the thousands today - or even in the tens of thousands of examples. This is pointed out by Christopher Dunn and others. That the Great Pyramid was not built by manual labor but had to be done with the aid of advanced technology because the building standard was within .20 of an inch whereas modern buildings today are built to a standard of within 0.5 inch. Flinders Petrie actually noticed this in his own findings but the likes of Mark Lehner today - seem to totally ignore what Petrie noticed. The sheer number of blocks used in the Great Pyramid cannot have been done by manual labor.
In our time there is the finding of the stone boxes in the Serapeum about two dozen boxes with lids weighing over 100 tons each (box and lid). One has attempt to scratch hieroglyphs on but are so crudely done - the person must have given up at trying. The purpose of these are unknown because it seems that it was interrupted and then given up on completing them for their unknown purpose. There is so much about Ancient Egypt that needs proper explaining. It's claimed that the massive pyramids in Egypt were built within two generations.
An alternate theory is that the Great Pyramid is far far older than supposed. Something like in the region of 60,000 to 70,000 years old Perhaps that which are created in black granite (and other similarly hard material - diorite) were from this time also? The various black granite sculptures of large to small size - and the tens of thousands of diorite stone bowls and slender necked vases. These are not typical pottery at all. Who else is able to work in black granite - this cannot be compared to white marble. The pyramids were not built as tombs for pharoahs - because they lack the decoration associated with tombs but instead have that purpose built utility feel/look to them. Dunn thinks the Great Pyramid in particular is likened more to being a power plant.
Onto another matter entirely - about religions in particular.
They were always political entities from the word go. They pretend to be 'spiritual' but don't act this way at all. I don't think they tell the original story (or stories) at all - but some misconstrued version thereof. Christianity does this especially.
Jesus was always a human being - but Christianity changed the story - making him into the Son of God, world and personal saviour. There are so many things that Christianity got wrong. He did not resurrect - but was revived from near death. After which he fled for his life trekking off to India with his mother Mary. But being old and fragile she died on the long journey - and was buried where she died. He made it to Kashmir where he raised a family, marrying a local woman. Lived to an old age and is buried there. This is shown in the documentary 'Did Jesus Die?'. He was never called 'The King of the Jews' but was called a 'King of Wisdom' - being a spiritual leader/teacher. Christianity does not echo his teachings .because he would have taught reincarnation and not resurrection - which was Paul's viewpoint. All this info is from the Talmud Jmmanuel material - summarized here. Spelt with a J but pronounced with an I.
Religions which elevate their prophet to a God like status - likewise are corrupted in their own way. We do have a prophet in our times - Billy Meier who does bring forth the old material anew for us. Correcting the distortions. He is no cult leader and says more sensible stuff than most others.
God was never Creator of the Universe - instead this was a term of office by the leader of the ETs who oversaw the development of the human race here. The ETs were giants, lived for a few thousand years - and appeared to be gods or likened to 'God'.
That which created the Universe, etc - was never an entity (that you can personally address and get help from) but it's better to call it a process - more correctly named as 'the Creation'. This is the same as Universal Consciousness.
Real spirituality would be about getting in touch with your own spirit. The Egyptians are suppose to be about this also - the 'Know thyself' philosophy. That it's all about connecting within oneself - the inward journey. Not about connecting with 'God' - which is a figment of the human imagination. World religions who preach about 'God' the creator - who you can pray to and get help from - is not about how this universe works. All these religions gain power by proxy - by speaking for 'God' all of the time. Sadly this is using 'circular logic' the likes of - in terms of Christianity (and others who have their holy text) - that if it's in the Bible - then it must be true. Nevermind that if you study the history of the Bible - you'd know this text is not what it pretends to be.
It is the case with the majority of texts and stories - that the version handed down to us today - may be greatly distorted from the original as such. And because it may be the only? version we have - we have little to compare it with? But in the case with the story about 'Jesus' - it's actually not that hard to separate the more unbelievable elements from it or revise it to something more believable. Like raising the dead? Not likely. But when someone is near death and is presumed to be 'dead'. They could be revived as in resuscitation, like paramedics do today. Feeding 5000 with a few loaves of bread and fish? Most likely the 5000 figure is greatly exaggerated - that it was a more modest figure but still, a little food did go a long way - through some marvelous means.
Most people know the Lord's Prayer of Christianity - but what was it before it was changed to this?
Here is the original version - (formatting should be that - indicates a new line)
My spirit, you exist within omnipotence - May your spirit be holy - May your kingdom incarnate itself within me - May your power unfold itself within me - On Earth and in the heavens.
Give me today my daily bread, that I may - Recognize my wrongdoings and the truth. - And lead me not into temptation and confusion - But deliver me from error - For yours is the kingdom within me - And the power and knowledge forever - Amen.
This makes better sense than the Christian version. Christianity makes Mankind subject to God. Atheists are correct stating that 'God' simply does not exist in the Universe - that so called blasphemy is correct thinking.
That - we ourselves - create our own problems - so don't go seeking God's help to solve the problems we have created.
Problem solving is simple. Collect the information first - and then the problem is automatically seen for what it is. Our problem has always been - overpopulation - and then being able to live with one another with what limited resources we have available.
We have to be able to live with one another - no matter what cultural differences are present, etc.
We have to treat one another with respect. That we are all equal - and no one is higher, nor lower than another. There should be no class divisions. That is being unfair and unjust to have such systems in place.
